Let alone a host of countries. It would be virtually impossible for India to integrate just one.

India is not a dictatorial regime like China where Xi Jing Ping says nobody should stay up late and everybody goes to bed at 7 pm. It is a democracy which make these things infinitely hard if not impossible.

Bangladesh as of now, has forgotten that it owes its existence to India and is making its bed with India's arch-enemy. Pakistan’s nefarious ISI is very active in Bangladesh. The Pakistan Bangladesh engagement raises questions over whether the latter is recalibrating its strategic options vis-a-vis India. The same problems arise regardless of whether Pakistan or Bangladesh is integrated into India

INDIA PAKISTAN INTEGRATION

I) Law Enforcement: There has been a demographic change in parts of Kashmir occupied by Pakistan. The people who live there are hardliners and hold major anti India and Pro Pakistan sentiments. .

Even the current unrest is driven by failures of the Pakistan establishment and local grievances and not by any sentiment favouring India.

  • The anti India sentiment is fanned by the flames of fundamentalist ideologies and political propaganda as evidenced by the intensification of the Kashmir rhetoric spearheaded by religious figures like Fazlur Rehman.
  • It is also an attempt by the Pakistani establishment to divert attention away from domestic issues as Pakistani nationalism is frequently associated with hostility towards India.

So even if we capture it, we will not be able to retain it. And till we retain it people of that area will be a major security risk for India.

II) Security and Territorial integrity: This could also create a larger security problem and China will not let that go by easily.

III) Political Storm : There has to be funding from the Central government for the largely impoverished Pakistan, thus reducing the amount given to other Indian states. In a land where even a mole hill is made up to be a mountain, this is bound to create a political furore.

IV) Indian image in the world : Another factor is “International Pressure” . It's a sovereign country now and anyone who breaks the status quo will be blamed. India is creating an image of a responsible power, This would shatter that image

V) “it's not worth the effort.” : Apart from periodic intones of “Akhand Bharath” which serves well with the common public and therefore, at the ballot boxes, we would do well to refrain from such idiocy.

VI) Potential for Nuclear Conflict : Pakistan's nuclear doctrine indicates they would use nuclear weapons if any percentage of their land were captured, leading to a nuclear exchange. Pakistan has already advocated the use of several low yielding tactical nuclear weapons but then India's response would be massive and render Pakistan unfit for life.

VII) Economic Consequences: A major conflict, especially one involving nuclear weapons, would inflict severe economic consequences for all concerned. However, the dictum “The Bigger You Are, The Harder You Fall", holds true. Pakistan which is on the brink of economic collapse and staggering from one bailout to the other, has comparatively little to lose than India which is a rising power, even if India won the kinetic exchange.

VIII) Baluchistan, a ticking time bomb : Pakistan comprises Baluchistan which mildly speaking, is a ticking time bomb. It is spread over Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan. The Baloch on the other hand want a separate , independent country.

You can just imagine what a situation that will create. It is due to these reasons, Balochistan is still constitutionally recognized as a province of Pakistan and No Country Has Recognized It As An Independent Country.

Yes, we will hear occasional chest thumping but that will largely be for the sake of gullible masses and vote bank politics.
