Both Manipulation and Domination seek to control others for ulterior motives. It is a tool used by the dark forces. Satan does not care about the currency in our hands.

In today's world, tithing is believed to deal with money but in its original form it was never meant to be a tool of financial domination or even religious obligation, for according to the scripture ~

Understanding the spiritual dimension behind tithing causes clarity to return, peace to rise and provision to flow. The believer is no longer constrained by the nitty gritty of how much to give and the balancing of budgets.

The tithe is an act of spiritual recognition where the believer acknowledges God as the source and provider of every good thing. Thus, it is all about surrendering the human will, to the will of the divine Father. We.are limited by whatever we acknowledge as the source, When Abraham offered tithes to Melchisedec (ref Genesis 14:20), he was acknowledging covenant and declaring God as the source for his all.

Tithes reinforce covenant connection and this provides wisdom, stability, peace and divine strategy in addition to wealth. I quote one of the Scripture passages that has caused a lot of confusion for a long time ~

The windows of heaven in the above verse is not limited to pecuniary provision only but is also about perspective, sight and clarity.

Moreover, contrary to what we have been lead to believe, the above verse was addressed only to the nation of Israel - which was under the Mosaic Covenant - as the preceding verse shows

“Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, Even This Whole Nation.” [Malachi 3:9; KJV]

We are not of the Old but the New Covenant which beleive in Faith in Our Lord and not keeping the Old Testament laws religiously, to be saved from eternal damnation. This is not just me speaking but the scripture says so explicitly (ref Hebrews 8:13).

So the answer to is ”tithing” required today :

i) As a form of fiscal commitment or obligation ~ NO

For in that case, it takes the form of Manipulation which definitely is demonaic.

It was obligatory under the Mosaic Law but we are not under the Mosaic Law ☝️

ii) For spiritual alignment, kingdom access and covenant positioning ~ YES
