Dear Christian, if God knew beforehand that most of his creation would reject him and go to hell, then why did he create them in the first place, knowing where they would end up?

Now this is not a simple answer but deals with many different qualities of God Himself. Each facet of the problem warrants an assay that is circumspect given our own finite minds. Bearing this in mind, I trust you will go easy on me if I do make any controversial statements/assumptions.

God’s holiness is the foundation of His character and the defining attribute that sets Him apart from everything else in the universe👇

The infinite and all-encompassing nature of God’s holiness affects every aspect of His being. He cannot tolerate sin. Holiness, in its essence, refers to God’s absolute moral purity and righteousness while sin, at its core, is a contravention of God’s moral purity.

God’s holiness demands justice for sins that are committed 👇

This is emphasized throughout the Bible. In one of His parables Our Lord says -

This is a rather far cry, from the erroneous perception of God — that He is only Love — that we hold fast to.

Being made in God’s likeness (ref Genesis 1:27), implies possessing traits that are a replica of His own self — among them moral discernment and the capacity for exquisite and unplumbed relationship. This faculty for moral choice becomes a hallmark of personhood, reflecting a Creator who is both sovereign and relational.

He created us not out of any need, but out of the overflow of love and creativity among the persons of the Trinity and out of a desire to reveal Himself to us so that we could also enjoy Him. And that meant He had to lay bare All of his traits before us. The Crowning Glory Of God Was Revealed Fully At The Cross: His Grace.

The grace of the Almighty, would have remained hidden, obscured from humanity were it not for the Fall, for then there would have been no moral crimes and no deserved punishment. God’s goal is to have people who will enjoy Him forever, and that requires knowing Him fully, and that requires a fallen world — not only in the pre crucifixion era but also after — where All His faculties could be revealed.

A) Scripture indicates that God desires willing hearts rather than robots conditioned to subliminal messages. Free will opened the door for sin’s entrance (ref Romans 5:12).

B) Post the sacrificial crucifixion of Our Lord, this same free will, paved the way for reconciliation between Almighty God and man (ref Isaiah 1:18).

It is important to remember: — “The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” [Proverbs 16:4; KJV]

To conclude, the revelation of All His faculties via (i) His judgment of moral evil (ii) His undeserved and unmerited favour because of the sacrificial death of His son, offered as a propitiation and the consequences of disobedience to His Word, was at the root of His decision to create us.

Note: BTW your contention that “most of his
creation would reject him” is NOT supported by scripture
