Validity: Child Baptism

If I was baptized as a baby and even got confirmed later, will I still go to hell if I don’t get baptized again?

Suppose, just for arguments sake that what you say is true then even those who were born Catholic but are now following the teachings of Our Lord should not be in heaven at all !!!

Even though baptism is an important step of obedience for a Christian, I adamantly reject baptism as being an Absolute Prerequisite For Salvation.

Consider the two thieves crucified on either side of Our Lord. They did not have the luxury of coming down from the cross to be baptized. Yet, one trusted in the Lord, addressed Him as Lord of a kingdom as yet to come (Faith), acknowledged his sins while declaring that the Lord had done nothing wrong (confessing the Lord before men) and was saved.

Requiring Anything In Addition To Faith In Jesus Christ For Salvation Is A Works-based Salvation. Addition of anything to the gospel is to insinuate that the sacrificial crucifixion of Our Lord was somehow insufficient to purchase our salvation. (ref 2 Corinthians 5:21)

Do not be fooled. God knows the intent of our hearts. His crucifixion was the perfect sacrifice

The Bible says :

    1. “Who will have All men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” [1 Timothy 2:4; KJV]
    2. The word “truth” is associated with God's word and character in the Bible. The Bible reveals truth as a moral concept rooted in God’s character

The Bible says that God is not only truthful, but He Himself is the essence of truth. πŸ‘‡

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” [Titus 1:2; KJV]

      1. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” [John 17:17; KJV]
      2. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” [John 14:6; KJV]

In light of the above, how can He go against His own word (ref Matthew 10:32 above) and especially so, when He says that He does not change πŸ‘‡

In biblical times, baptism was the means of making a decision public and identified conversion from a different religion. Those who refused to be baptized were saying they did not truly believe. So (and it is my personal opinion) that in this case, if you meet all the other criteria that God requires (discussed above) you should be good
