Which country is likely to be a friend of India in 2022 ?

 At the outset, let me make it clear that I am writing this answer for a second time as Quora thought it fit , to throttle me by deleting my answer.I do not know, what I did to justify their ire as I was expressing myself (backed up with links from the internet) 

America is the top dog at the head of the table. All it has at heart is its interests. Nothing Else.It doesn't understand the meaning of the word “mutually”.

i) Nor does it take care of weaker countries who depend on them — ask the Afghans

ii)It doesn't hesitate to blame allies — the UK

iii)Or even worse — France

On the other hand a country under FATF greylisting, which sponsors terrorists as instruments of its foreign policy finds favour with USA because it serves their interests

War Crimes

Even if the US supreme court indicts them, then the President comes to their rescue and pardons them. So they can get away with murder as long as the victim is a non white

America Above Sanctions?

Its like being pushed off a gangplank when you need help

Russia on the other hand is Not judgemental. Yes, it is in an alliance with China with whom we have an ongoing border problem but so are we , with the USA.
